Many of our hors d'oeuvre selections can be picked up as a Party Express order.  There are some that are only available for fully catered events. Some items include a serving tray and some do not.  Please read carefully. Also, some items have a minimum purchase and some require more than a 36 hour notice.  

If you are planning a fully catered corporate event, you may select form the list, use the sample menus at the bottom of the page or ask Terri Lynn to design a menu exclusively for your event.  Be sure to call and determine if  your date is available before you spend a great deal of time putting together an order.

for your Open House or Networking Events.

We can also custom design any menu to suit your taste.  


The sample menu price is for food only, and is based on a

minimum of 40 guests for a 2 hour serving time

If your event is scheduled to last longer than 2 hours,

or you have fewer than 40 guests,

the price per guest will increase.

Tableware, decorative theme set up, delivery

and personnel are all priced separately. 

Also, keep in mind that you do not have to serve the recommended dessert. 

You may select a different assortment or choose to serve no dessert at all.

DON'T FORGET we do not cater on Friday and Saturday

for less than $3000 in food purchases.

Hors d'oeuvre Buffet Set Up  $200
Includes set up of buffet no later than 4:00 p.m. the day of the event and retrieval of equipment the next day at lunch.

(Equipment must be washed by client and ready for pick up!) Does not include delivery/mileage fees.


Set Up of an Hors d`oeuvre Buffet Includes: 

Two floor length black linen with colorful toppers, fresh greenery and votive candles.  

Food will be creatively presented in baskets and on trays appropriate for the theme.  Real chafing dishes will be included for 3 hot items. If menu requested includes more than 3 hot hors d'oeuvres there will be an $18 fee for each additional chafing dish. If more than one buffet set up is requested, there will be additional fees for linen. Tables are NOT included but can be rented for an additional charge.  Flower arrangements are not included but can also be added.  Beverage table linen is not included in this fee, nor are guest table linens.

Service Personnel

All evening events that require service personnel will need to have 2 people scheduled. For the average set up, we allow 1 to 1 & 1/2 hours prior to the start time of the event for set up.  This may vary based on the venue and intricacy of the set up. We then allow a minimum of 30 minutes for break down.  If your event does not end on time, you may be billed for additional server hours. 

General Notes
All prices are based on events that are held within a 15 mile radius of our shop. Depending upon where the 
event is located, additional delivery charges may incur.


After hour events during the week require a minimum food order. Weekend events are subject to approval by Terri Lynn and require a high food minimum. We typically DO NOT deliver, set up or provide servers for Sunday events. For more details, click on the

Payment terms will be handled on an individual client basis. 


Tableware is not included in the menu prices. For cocktail parties, heavyweight disposable plates, napkins and cups are available or we can rent glass hors d`oeuvre plates and glass barware.


Fresh floral arrangements are not included in the above prices but are available for an additional fee.


Labor Rate

The number of service personnel depends on the number of guests, menu and the type of place setting you select.  Also, your venue can make a difference.  Our labor rate is $28 per hour per personnel for evening events.


Time of Event

Your pricing is based on the beginning and ending times that you give us when preparing your proposal. The Event Coordinator for your event is given this information so that our personnel can begin cleaning up promptly at the scheduled ending time of the event.  PLEASE NOTE, If your event does not end at the scheduled time, additional charges will be billed.


Deposits, Payments and Billing

Deposits for our regular corporate clients will be handled on an event by event basis and regular terms will apply.

A 50% Deposit is required at the date of booking for all new clients in order to secure the date.  Balance is due in full the day of the event. Please note, we do accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express. 



Fees for personnel are billed separately on your invoice and are a non taxable item. These fees cover the cost of setting up, executing and cleaning up your event and are billed on an hourly basis. Gratuities are never expected but appreciated by our staff.


Facility Fees

Many venues require a service fee from the caterer. Please check with your venue to determine if there are any additional fees. These will be billed to the client by Terri Lynn’s and in turn paid to the facility.


Sales Tax 

If your event is held in Indiana you will pay 7% sales tax on food, beverage and amenities. Labor is not taxable. If your event is held in Kentucky you will pay 6% sales tax.  If you are a tax exempt entity it is your responsibility to provide documentation prior to final billing.


Left Over Food

Terri Lynn’s Catering prepares adequate portions based on the final count given by the client. At the end of the event, if the number of people served is close to the number of guests, Terri Lynn’s Catering reserves the right to keep the left overs and allow our employees to eat. If there is a substantial difference in the number of guaranteed guests and the number of served guests, Terri Lynn’s Catering will determine if left over food is still safe for consumption.  If the food has not been out longer than 3 hours, our staff will box the food and refrigerate it until the client is ready to leave. If there is no refrigeration available at the venue, Terri Lynn’s will not leave the left over food. Because packing of the food can be very time consuming, we appreciate your cooperation in allowing us to box and chill the food until your departure.

Liability & Insurance

Terri Lynn’s Catering is fully licensed and carries a $1,000,000 liability policy. However, Terri Lynn’s Catering is NOT licensed or insured to sell or even serve liquor. If a guest asks one of our servers to bring him or her an alcoholic beverage, our server will politely deny the request.  Since Terri Lynn's does not have a retail liquor license we partner with Sam's Food & Spirits in Indiana to offer these services.  In Kentucky, we have a couple companies we can refer you to.

Bar Services

Terri Lynn's catering does not have a license or liquor liability to serve or sell alcohol.  We do have partner companies who can help with the bar service.  Just let Terri Lynn know if you would like more information.


Terri Lynn’s assumes no responsibility for any damages or loss to the belongings of any of the guests attending the event. Terri Lynn’s will do everything possible to ensure that all of the client’s supplies, rentals and equipment are handled and maintained in good working condition and without damage. The client agrees to pay for any missing or damaged rental items.

Tableware is not included in the menu price unless noted. For cocktail parties, heavyweight disposable plates, napkins and cups are available or we can rent glass hors d`oeuvre plates and glass barware.

Decorations and Floral Arrangements

Fresh floral arrangements for your event. A large centerpiece for the food table usually starts at $100 and can go as high as desired. We use decorative serving pieces in our food displays as well as fresh greenery and candles as part of our regular set up. Therefore, a centerpiece is not always needed. It just depends on your budget. Guest table decorations can also be provided.
